Sutton, who batted .343 with three home runs this season, played shortstop for the Mountaineers but likely will play third base for Temple. "She's really a solid infielder. She's a solid ballplayer all around," Lady Crusaders coach Randy Crawford said. "We feel we're getting somebody who can help us step up to the next level." Crawford saw her first when she was a junior and then watched her play "several times" this past summer and in the 2014 high school season. "I love the atmosphere of the college and the coaches and players -- all of it," Sutton said. "And the fact it's a Christian college is one of the main things. That was important to me."

Travaris Clarke scored 31 points on 11-of-15 shooting from the field for the Crusaders, who got 21 points with five 3-point baskets from Weedlens Beauvil, 15 points and 18 rebounds from Cameron High and eight assists with nine points from Sean Anthony. Michael Vardaman and Richmond Jackson scored 23 and 21 points for Fisk, and Austin Watkins had 16 points and 12 rebounds. The Crusaders will take a break for a few days before traveling to Bethel University (TN) to play in their classic vs Bethel and Blue Mountain on November 7th and 8th.

This was Coach Monique Blanding debut as a Head Coach.  For the Lady Crusaders, Amanda Rector and Angel Foster had 24 and 21 points and 11 and 14 rebounds, Foster adding six steals, and Bree Smith scored 12 points. Temple led 34-15 at halftime. Fisk got 15 and 13 points from Nailah Whitlock and Telliya Patton, and Sommer Griffin had 12 rebounds.

Starting off the day against Crown College, the Lady Crusaders won in a 3-0 sweep with the scores of 25-6; 25-20; 26-9.  Seniors, Victoria Smith and Lydia Vick both had 6 kills and Naomi Posada added 6 to the total. Freshman, Cassidy Ingram gave a solid performance with 5 kills. 
As the day continued, the Crusaders honored their four seniors, Amy Keokanlaya, Lydia Vick, Victoria Smith, and Shatoya Medford,  before the match against Truett-McConnell.  The rematch went four sets, and the Crusaders finished the day with two wins with the scores of 25-15;19-25;25-22;25-18. The seniors put on a show for their last home game. Victoria Smith had 13 kills and 3 solo blocks. Lydia Vick led the Crusaders offense with 15 kills and included 20 digs. Shatoya Medford led the crusaders defense with 23 digs, 3 solo blocks, 2 assisted blocks an included 5 kills. Amy Keokanlaya added 18 digs. Kiara Govan had 40 assists and 15 digs. Sisten Lipsey followed Medford's lead with 22 digs. The Crusaders advanced their record to 21-11. Monday they travel to take on Toccoa Falls, and Tuesday the Crusaders begin their journey to New York to take part in the USCAA Nationals.
