In a game with NCCAA Team Johnson Bible College Thursday the team had their best offensive showing of the year.  The Crusaders pounded out 18 hits scoring 24 runs and earning several walks.  Highlights were Senior Rob McIntire who was 3 for 5 with 3 Runs batted in, Senior Jeremy McKay from Apple Valley Minnesota slugged in 6 RBI in 4 trips to the plate.  Freshmen standouts were Lee Wilburn who was 2 for 3 with a HR and 3 RBI. Colby Dixson with 2 RBI and 2 SAC fly, Christian Pryor and Luke Grow had 2 and 3 RBI to add to the win.  On the hill Freshman Tyler Cross fanned 3 out of 7 batters faced and Sophomore Daniel Corbin struck out 2 in two innings of work.  Freshman Tim Ryan came in and sealed the win.  Johnson Bible did show pride by tallying 3 runs late in the game and played with class throughout a difficult challenge.  The Crusaders host NCAA Div II North Greeneville University in a 3 game tilt starting Friday at 630pm.
