Seventh-seeded Tennessee Temple will be playing for seventh place against eighth seed Roberts Wesleyan in the National Christian College Athletic Association Division I men's basketball tournament today at 3 p.m. at Winona Lake, Ind. Temple (22-13) lost 87-58 in Wednesday's late game to No. 2 seed and defending champion Cedarville and then fell 85-60 to sixth seed Spring Arbor in a Thursday morning game. Weedlens Beauvil and Corey Sanders each scored 11 points and Rashaud Bell added 10 against Spring Arbor, which got 29 points and nine rebounds from Matt Howe and 17 points and eight rebounds from Chris Bellamy. Howe made 10 of 14 shots from the field and nine of 10 free throws. Hampton Mack, who led Temple in rebounds Thursday with seven, had 11 points with Elliot Johnson's 13 against Cedarville, whose Austin Foote scored 24 on 10-of-13 shooting. Temple shot 38.5 percent Wednesday night and 30.3 percent in its quick return to the court.
