Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders and Ohio Christian University both threatened with rallies, but it was Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders that eventually took advantage of them in a 5-1 win at Jackson, TN.

Ohio Christian University had 11 hits compared with Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders' eight, but Ohio Christian University stranded 11 runners on base.

 

Raven Pope racked up three RBIs on two hits for Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders. She tripled in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.

 

Megan Roysden got the win for Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders. She allowed one run over seven innings. Roysden struck out two, walked one and gave up 11 hits.

The lead stayed with Tennessee Temple Lady Crusaders after the third, when it scored two runs on a passed ball and an RBI triple by Pope.

Ohio Christian University's lone run of the ballgame came in the sixth inning on an RBI single by Kelli Manning.

 

They will play the Host school Union University as 3:00 today. Since Union has not lost in this Tourney they will have to beat them twice to win the Mid-East.
