The Tennessee Temple University men's basketball team ended their season with a 82-78 loss Thursday night at Pensacola Christian College. The Crusaders fell behind 15-0 in the early going and trailed 50-38 at halftime. Pensacola's early start was keyed by Marques Goetsch who had 26 points at the half in route to a game high 41.
The Crusaders fought back in the second half with clutch shooting from Brandon Brown who led the Crusaders with 26 points and Jonta Bowman who added 14 points including 4 of 8 from 3-point territory.
The Crusaders closed the lead to 80-78 with under ten seconds to play and had possession of the ball but were unable to convert from the floor to tie the game.
Zack Mouw also added 14 points for the Crusaders and John Hoskins led the Crusaders with 14 rebounds.
