Engel Foundation provides opportunity for kids to come out and get experienced instruction.          At AT&T stadium at least 200 kids from the tri-state area embarked to enjoy great weather and great instruction from a host of professional, former professional and college coaches and instructors.  The camp is  to promote and create interest in revitalizing the Crusaders home field and what is known as the oldest surviving minor league ballpark in the U.S., Engel Stadium.   VIP coaches/instructors including but not limited to Rick Honecutt the current Dodgers pitching coach, Wes Hodges AAA Cleveland Indians, Kyler Burke Cubs organization, Sal Rende renowned hitting coach and Tim Costo to name a few.  There were more than ten Crusaders on hand with help from Doug Simons, Covenant College head coach and a few of his guys.  The kids learned throwing, pitching, hitting, nutrition, fielding and the importance of knowing Christ as the savior.  This Christian service project exemplifies the character traits and servant leadership outlined by TTU's parent organization, the NCCAA, and the values of the University.
