Women's Soccer - Sat, Sep. 15, 2012

1st year Head Coach Emmanuel Awotula and the Lady Crusaders got their first win of the year over Johnson University.  The Lady Crusaders scored early and scored often; in fact, they scored the most goals by any women's soccer team at TTU.  By the sound of the last horn the score was 10-0 with TTU as the victors.  Freshman Liz Adams led the night in scoring with 4 goals, and Rebecca Whiteside added 2 goals. Rebecca Whiteside also had 5 assists along with an assist by Ahlanna Glasco. After the game Coach wanted to make it known that this was a team effort, and it felt great to get his 1st win as a college Head Coach. He also noted that they still need to get better at shooting after he was told that his ladies had 39 shots on goal. The Lady Crusaders will be back on the road this Monday as they travel to take on Spelman College, a NCAA DIII team. Kick-off is at 5:00pm EST
