Emmanuel Awotula came back to a proven source for more of the same.
The Tennessee Temple University women's soccer coach has liked what he¹s
seen this season from freshman Liz Adams, who as a Sale Creek student played
for Hixson High. Tuesday morning he signed Hixson senior Elizabeth Miller
for next year.
Miller, a former East Ridge Express club player, said getting a chance to
play with Adams again was part of her attraction to the Lady Crusaders 
along with the fact that Temple is in town.
She reminded me a little bit of Liz, Awotula said. She has great footwork
and composure, and she's another player we can bring up to score for us. And
it¹s great to get another local kid.
Said Hixson coach Jeff Dean: She¹ll fit in well with his program. She's an
extremely hard worker and she¹s a smart player. She¹s a lot like Liz  I can
play her just about anywhere on the field.
