Carlos Goncalves - Assistant Coach
Coach Goncalves comes from Sao Paulo, Brazil and joins the coaching staff at TTU for this upcoming 2008 season. He brings with him a passion for the game and coaching and a willingness to work with kids.  Before coming to TTU Coach Goncalves had a lengthy professional playing and coaching career. From 1990-1996 Coach Goncalves played on several professional clubs (Bragantino, Olimpia, Suzano Futbol Club, Avai, Marcilio Dias, and Tanabi) in Brazil, as well as playing for the Jaro Football Club in Finland. He came to the United States in 1998 to play for the Pensacola Barracudas in the USISL. Since then he has held several coaching positions such as: Varsity Girls Head Coach at Fort Walton Beach HS from 2003-2005 where he led them to the Regional Semi's. He was also the Director of Coaching, Coordinator of Player Development and U-17 Girls Head Coach for the WAVE Futbol Club from 1999-2007. In 2004 he took his girls team to the State Cup final four. Coach Goncalves also holds a "National Youth Coaching Liscense" and a "Goalkeeper Diploma" from the NSCAA.  We are excited to have Coach Goncalves and his wife Elaine Prateat Goncalves here to be a part of the "Crusader Football Club".  

Paul Ogutu - Assistant Coach
Paul is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University holding a B.A. in Pastoral Studies and Business Administration. He is a native of Kenya, and has a passion not only for soccer, but for Jesus Christ. As a result Paul's objective while at Temple is to use the avenue of soccer to reach young people for Christ. Paul has an extensive career with soccer, both as a semi-professional player in Kenya and as a coach. He brings with him a substantial wealth of experience both from a players perspective as well because of his playing career at TTU as well. Paul has also had the privilege of conducting and coaching several clinics internationally in Hungary, Germany, and Kenya during the 2003-2004 year. Currently, Paul is working on his Master of Divinity at Temple Baptist Seminary.
