Nate Tompkins came to Tennessee Temple University from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL where he attended school while working in their Sports Information Department. Nate worked mainly as a public address announcer for Jacksonville State, using vocal talent to add to several of their sports. Initially, Nate started as a public address announcer for Tennessee Temple, but was asked to come on board to help with the Sports Information Department.

Nate has been at Tennessee Temple since January 2013, serving as vocal talent for athletic events, sports information member, fundraising promoter, and softball assistant with a specialty in recruiting. Nate’s plans are to attend Tennessee Temple while working for the university, and then pursue a career path of sports information, recruiting, and potentially softball.
