This past weekend the Lady Crusaders were at a tournament in Madisonville, TN hosted by Hiwassee College. They played two games there; where they went 1-1 for the weekend. On Friday night they played Florida College were they fell to the Lady Falcons 59-68 in a game that featured a lot of technical difficulty with the clock before and during the game. In the loss, the Lady Crusaders were led in scoring by Amanda Rector who had 20 points and also Amber Charles who had 15 points.  On Saturday the Lady Crusaders would bounce back with a 73-58 win over Warren Wilson (N.C.). Amanda Rector and Amber Charles again would lead the way in scoring with 19 and 13 respectfully. Other Lady Crusaders in double figures were Jess Salera and TaQuasha O'Neal with 12 points each, and Alexis McGhee with 10 points; she also had 8 rebounds. The lady Crusaders will be back in action on December 4th as they travel to face Reinhardt University at 5:30 EST.
