Tennessee Temple welcomes Jeff Haarlow as the new head coach of the men's basketball program. Haarlow arrives to Temple with an impressive resume. This past summer Coach Haarlow was part of the Point Guard College Staff. Coach Haarlow grew up in Pinehurst, NC. After graduating from The O'Neal School, Haarlow attended Berry College from 1992 to 1996. During his college career, Haarlow played two years of basketball and two years of golf, and he earned an All-American award in golf and finished second at nationals his senior year.
After graduating from Berry College, Coach Haarlow transitioned into the Assistant Basketball Coach, which lead into the head coaching position at Berry College. During Coach Haarlow's time as the Head Basketball Coach at Berry College, he was named TranSouth Coach of the year for 2002-2003 season, and he finished his eleven year career with a record of 137/181. Also, within Coach Haarlow's career at Berry, all of his student athletes, who finished eligibility, graduated; his team, as a whole, maintained over a 3.0 GPA, and the student athletes have gone on to be coaches, teachers, doctors, and businessmen. Finally, During his time at Berry, Coach Haarlow and his teams were two time Champion of Character Award winners for the NAIA.
Along with his amazing career, Coach Haarlow is married to Casey Haarlow, and he is a father of two childern, Molly, eight years old, and Will, four years old.
Tennessee Temple Athletes is excited to have Coach Haarlow lead the men's basketball team.
